Production Blog for the Music Video


Hello! Today I was supposed to start filming. My group and I were so excited to start filming today!  We have everything already planned out. However, it started raining heavily right after school. This means that we couldn't go to the location for our filming. My teammates did not want to go drastically with our backup plan because we already had everything set in stone. I know that it would be best if my group and I were all on the same page. If in any case that something stops us from going to our location, the park again, we will most likely go to the backup plan. The backup plan may be used because it started raining heavy this week. If it does rain tomorrow, it would honestly be easier for my team to go to the backup plan. The backup plan that I created is much more easier. It also may reap better results. The filming blogs are all due this week. So, it's already hard enough for all of us to meet in the weekday. Midterms are also coming up so trying to fit production into that has been challenging. This film day was really just a warm up. After everything was said and done, I looked through my roles. This now will make it easier for me to produce a likable music video alongside my teammates. I'm going to go discuss camera shots with my teammates! See you later!

Planning For My Music Video

  Song: Somebody I Use To Know Props - For this music video, we decided on going for a story that follows a group of friends that slowly fall apart as one person drifts away. Since we want to capture a scene with the friends on the beach, beach towels, hats and beach balls will be present. Costumes - This part will be very easy in our opinion as we will have regular swimming wear or just causal clothing. Though their will be scenes that won't be on the beach so their might be changes in clothing. For the swimming wear, it will completely up to the actors of what they are comfortable on wearing this shoot. Nothing to covered or revealing will be disagreed upon as the actors concern worths more. I'm sure most outfits people would chose are short pants with a t-shirt.
