My Introduction Blog

    

    Hello! It is so great to see you again. I am super excited to start my journey in A-level media! I am happy that I can experience this again with you to watch and cheer me on! I was born on a beautiful island named Jamaica and I live with my parents and younger brother. I love to listen to music. Even though all my favorite songs are kind of a mixing pot, I love RnB. RnB music really speaks to me and I love all the creative melodies. During my free time, I like to watch anime and read thriller webtoons. I love Shonen anime. My favorite anime at the moment is JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Some things that I love about JoJo's Bizarre Adventure are the art style and the fact that the author, Hirohiko Araki, incorporates closure in his writing. You do not see that a lot in other animes. Usually, an all-time favorite character would just die and the authors would just leave it like that. However, in JoJo, Araki really taps into the emotions of readers by giving us closure, even when the character that meets an unfortunate end is not your favorite. No matter how numb you may think you are, Araki's art is an antidote to that numbness. I love art, and I believe that it is really a gift. Not only does it help bring people together, but it evokes emotions from those who may think they are too numb to feel it. I enjoyed this introductory blog a lot! See you in my next blog!

Planning For My Music Video

  Song: Somebody I Use To Know Props - For this music video, we decided on going for a story that follows a group of friends that slowly fall apart as one person drifts away. Since we want to capture a scene with the friends on the beach, beach towels, hats and beach balls will be present. Costumes - This part will be very easy in our opinion as we will have regular swimming wear or just causal clothing. Though their will be scenes that won't be on the beach so their might be changes in clothing. For the swimming wear, it will completely up to the actors of what they are comfortable on wearing this shoot. Nothing to covered or revealing will be disagreed upon as the actors concern worths more. I'm sure most outfits people would chose are short pants with a t-shirt.
